We are Sweet Escapes: redefining desserts through cakes, cupcake, and tarts. We (Gabi and Ellissa) have been baking together since the day we met in kindergarten. Shortly after meeting in school our families instantly became one; 
bonding over the fact that our moms are both New Yorkers.
We have destroyed kitchens, made crazy concoctions, and dropped a few cakes on the floor. With all that we decided to open a bakery!
We both have a background in teaching (which we love doing) but have a passion and zest for baking. We have both been fortunate enough to travel around the world, and base our cupcakes off our experiences. We strive to create new, unique, and interesting combinations of cupcakes for our customers.
Our mission is to make Sweet Escapes part of everyone's celebrations, holidays, and events.
